Wine Down Downtown is a recurring evening event where participating shops and restaurants in Downtown Brandon stay open late and offer wine tastings, specials and live entertainment. Guests can stroll, sip and shop while enjoying the relaxed, social atmosphere in the heart of downtown.
Get your wine glass and armband at the Brandon Main Street office on the corner in the old Material Girls location!

This annual holiday kickoff event invites the community to shop local as downtown and participating businesses around Brandon offer holiday specials, seasonal décor and extended hours. The weekend often includes treats, promotions and the lighting of the community Christmas tree to welcome the holiday season.

The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown Brandon marks the start of the holiday season with music, community greetings and the official lighting of the city Christmas tree. Families and friends gather to enjoy a festive evening and celebrate the season together.

Holiday Head Start is a city-wide shopping weekend where Brandon businesses offer early seasonal discounts and promotions to kick off the holiday season. It’s a chance to get ahead on gift buying, enjoy festive storefronts and support local shops before the holiday rush.

Magic of Lights is a drive-through holiday light experience featuring dazzling displays, themed scenes and festive music. Families can enjoy the show from the comfort of their vehicle as they travel through a mile of sparkling holiday lights and seasonal decorations. It’s a fun and easy way to celebrate the season together.

The Red Nose Run 5K is an annual fun run hosted by the Brandon High School Band to spread holiday cheer and support band programs. Participants of all ages are invited to run or walk the festive course, often dressed in holiday colors and red noses. It’s a family-friendly event that promotes community spirit and supports local student musicians.

Small Business Saturday encourages the community to shop local and support Brandon’s small businesses. Many shops and boutiques offer specials and promotions, making it a great day to find unique gifts and show love to the local entrepreneurs who help our city thrive.

Let It Glow is the City of Brandon’s Christmas lights celebration, where homes and businesses across the community decorate with festive displays. Residents are invited to enjoy an evening drive to see the lights and vote for their favorites. It’s a cheerful way to experience the magic of the season all throughout Brandon.

Festive Fête is a downtown holiday celebration featuring seasonal shopping, festive storefronts and a holiday-themed wine and cocktail tasting experience. Participating shops and restaurants offer specials and extended hours, creating a cheerful evening to sip, stroll and enjoy the start of the season in Brandon.

Boo!042 Brings Fall Fun to Downtown Brandon
The annual Boo!042 celebration brought families and friends to Downtown Brandon for an evening filled with Halloween fun and community pride. Streets were lined with local businesses handing out candy and warm greetings creating a safe and festive trick-or-treat experience for children of all ages. The sidewalks were busy with little superheroes, princesses, dinosaurs and plenty of creative handmade costumes. The event continues to draw strong participation each year and has become a favorite fall tradition for many in Brandon.
Local shops added to the atmosphere with decorated storefronts, themed giveaways and friendly staff joining in on the fun. Music played throughout downtown and families stopped to take pictures in front of fall displays and Halloween scenes. Food vendors and local restaurants stayed busy as event-goers enjoyed snacks and dinner during the festivities. The evening was full of laughter and small moments that showcased what makes Brandon feel like home.
Boo!042 continues to grow thanks to the ongoing support of the community, local businesses and city partners who work together to make the event possible. It highlights the value of family-friendly celebrations and the importance of gathering as a community. Plans are already underway for next year and Boo!042 is expected to return even bigger with more festive fun on the horizon. The tradition is stronger than ever and remains a bright spot in Brandon’s fall calendar.

BrandonPlatz Becomes the Heart of Downtown Brandon
After a fierce competition of 48 hoisters, Max Brian is the 2025 Stein Hoisting Champion!
The third annual Brandonplatz was one for the books — sold out, record-setting, and keg-emptying with a crowd easily twice the size of last year’s! Thank you to everyone who showed up, waited patiently in lines, and turned the day into a chance to connect with neighbors and welcome visitors to Brandon.
Presented by Performance Therapy Brandon and powered by Brandon Main Street Association, Brandonplatz is more than just a fall festival — it’s about showcasing our city, driving economic impact to local businesses, and raising vital funds that fuel our mission to grow and share the culture that makes Brandon so special.
